My name is Koopacake- small multimedia creator, long-time vocal synth fan!

Before this whole project, I created a shoddy, CV voice bank back in 2016/17 and released 2018. Back then I was very deep in the community and had many friends in the fandom who helped me out and made me feel connected.

​

However, quickly after releasing that UTAU, I moved on to other interests, the fandom had gotten smaller over the years, and new vocal synths had risen.

 

While practicing in Synth V and Vocaloid in 2021/22, I decided I would go back to UTAU, make a better bank, and actually learn the software's ins and outs.

​

I've had a few very different concepts and ideas for this new UTAU but in the end, the one to became Schaden Freude ended up being more of a spiritual successor to my first ever UTAU (both being girly, blue-ish, cat furloids).

​

I admit, the current VB of Schaden Freude is not the best. It's voice is not the highest quality and it may not be error-free, but this is a labour of love and something I think is finally a worthy contribution to the community I've been in for so long.
